Adults Rule Too presents… The Clay Social: Christmas Edition 🎄 Switch off from the Christmas rush and enjoy two relaxed evenings creating your own handmade Christmas decorations from clay. ⭐ SESSION ONE – MAKE IT Friday 20th November | 6:30–8:30pm You'll receive an allocated amount of clay to create your own collection of festive decorations and keepsakes. We'll provide cutters, templates, tools and inspiration, with ideas including stars, Christmas puddings, trees, angels, hearts, baubles and hanging decorations. Follow our ideas or create something completely your own! No previous clay experience is needed – we'll be there to guide you along the way. Your creations will then stay with us to dry thoroughly before their first kiln firing. 🎨 SESSION TWO – PAINT IT Friday 4th December | 6:30–8:30pm Return for another relaxed evening to bring your handmade pieces to life with colour. Once painted, we'll complete their final kiln firing and contact you when they're ready to collect in time for Christmas. £45 per person includes BOTH sessions, your allocated clay, tools and materials, guidance, paints/glazes, kiln firings. Additional drinks will be available to purchase, with the option to pre-order food closer to the workshop. ✨ Only 10 places available – advance booking essential. Please make sure you can attend both dates before booking. The number and size of pieces you create will depend on how you use your allocated clay. Please note: Handmade clay can occasionally crack, warp or change during drying and firing. We'll take every reasonable care of your creations, but kiln-fired pottery cannot be completely guaranteed.
Cancellation Policy
Adults Rule Too – Clay Social Booking Policy Places on our Clay Social workshops are limited and your place is secured once full payment has been received. Your booking covers both dates of the two-part workshop. Please check that you are able to attend both the making and painting sessions before booking. Bookings are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, please contact us as soon as possible. Where sufficient notice is provided, we will do our best to transfer your place to another suitable Clay Social where availability allows, but transfers cannot be guaranteed. If you miss the making session, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to complete the project at a later date, as drying and firing times are scheduled around the course. If you attend the making session but are unable to attend the return painting session, your creation will be kept safely for you and we will discuss available options for finishing it at another suitable time. Any alternative session may be subject to availability. Clay is a natural material and handmade pottery can occasionally crack, warp or change during drying or firing. We take every reasonable care when handling and firing your work, but the results of kiln firing cannot be completely guaranteed. Finished pieces require a final kiln firing after painting and therefore cannot be taken home at the end of the second session. We will contact you when your piece is ready for collection. If Kids Rule Play Café has to cancel or rearrange a workshop, we will contact you and offer an alternative date or appropriate refund. By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read and accepted this booking policy.
