Makaton Level 1 Training Hosted at Kids Rule Play Café, in partnership with Sherbrook School 📍 Location: Kids Rule Play Café 24 Martindale, Cannock, WS11 7XN 📅 Training Dates (2 Sessions): Saturday 12th July 2025 – 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Saturday 26th July 2025 – 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (You must attend both sessions to complete the course.) 💬 What is Makaton? Makaton is a unique language programme that uses signs and symbols to support spoken language. This Level 1 course is ideal for parents, carers, educators, and professionals looking to improve communication and inclusivity in everyday life. 💷 Course Cost: £95 + VAT per person (£114) Includes: 6 hours of accredited training Official Makaton workbook One free standard hot drink (per session) 🔒 Booking & Payment Info: A £50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your space. The remaining balance must be paid by Saturday 5th July 2025. Payment plans may be available — please contact us before booking to discuss. Spaces are limited and not guaranteed until full payment is received. ℹ️ Additional Info: Limited places available – early booking recommended. Cancellation Policy
Booking & Cancellation Policy By booking a course at Kids Rule Play Café, you agree to the following terms: Deposits & Payments A £50 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 7 days before the first training session. If the final balance is not received by the deadline, your booking may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited. Refunds & Cancellations Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances. Cancellations made 14 days or more before the course start date may be eligible for a partial refund of the balance paid (excluding the deposit). Cancellations made less than 14 days before the course start date are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, we will do our best to transfer your place to a future course where possible, but this is not guaranteed. Transfers & Name Changes If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another named person. Please notify us in writing at least 48 hours in advance. Transfers to a different date may be offered at our discretion, subject to availability and trainer approval.
